About the Christmas Garden Münster

As twilight falls, the magic begins …

After a successful premiere last year, Christmas Garden Münster 2020 will open its doors again and bring light into the dark season. The visitors are invited to take a deep breath and enjoy the anticipation of Christmas in peace and quiet. The Christmas Garden Münster is a pre-Christmas oasis where friends, couples and the whole family can spend an evening in an atmospheric and festive atmosphere. The Christmas Garden takes you on an approximately 2 km long circular route through the traditional Allwetterzoo Münster with numerous glittery illuminations into a magical Christmas world.

This year, the Christmas Garden Münster will once again be transformed into a magical Christmas landscape, which will continue to surprise even our visitors from previous years. A visit to the Christmas Garden is an experience that offers adults and children everything that makes a winter excursion together special. Those who want to end the magical winter walk in a relaxed atmosphere can stock up on delicious hot food or drinks and warm up by the crackling fire.

FAQ

Admission Times

To allow you an experience full of atmosphere, the admission is limited for visitors per 30 minutes. Please show up at the admission time shown on your ticket and pass the entrance within the half hour mentioned on your ticket. Example: if you have bought a ticket for 5 pm, you can show up for admission between 5 pm and 5.30 pm.

Last admission to the Christmas Garden Münster and to the trail is at 9 pm. We ask for your understanding that the security services will inform the visitors still on the trail from 9.45 pm onwards that the Christmas Garden will close at 10 pm.

Compulsary mask in sensitive areas

At the entrance areas and on the grounds of the Christmas Garden it is recommended that all employees and visitors wear a mouth and nose protector. At neuralgic points, where the required distance of 1.50m cannot be guaranteed (e.g. entrance and exit areas, sanitary facilities, catering), we point out out the wearing of the mouth and nose protector by appropriate signage. In these sub-areas the wearing of a mouth and nose protector is obligatory. This applies to both indoor and outdoor areas. Depending on current developments in the winter months and official regulations, we reserve the right to introduce a general obligation to wear a mouth and nose protector on the entire area of the event.

If you do not have a mouth and nose protector, you can purchase one on site. Scarves, cloths or other textiles are not sufficient.

Opening Hours

The Christmas Garden Münster is open from 19 November 2020 to 10 January 2021, from 5 pm to 10 pm.

The Christmas Garden is closed on the following days: 23, 24, 30 November, 01, 07, 08, 24 and 31 December 2020.

Personalised Ticketing

In order to be able to trace possible chains of infection, we as promoters are obliged to record your name and contact details. We use computer-controlled, personalised ticketing. In doing so, we observe both the relevant requirements of the authorities and the data protection regulations in accordance with the DSGVO. Children’s tickets must also be personalised and must contain all the necessary information. Only a personalised ticket then authorises you to enter. We ask you to present the purchased tickets and a photo document (identity card, driving licence, etc.) at the entrance.
If you are unable to attend on the day of the event, you can change your print@home or mobile ticket in your booking account at myticket.de. The re-personalisation will be done online.
If the ticket was sent to you by post, it will be re-personalised on site at the box office. There, you or the new visitor in question would enter the previous ticket and all the above-mentioned details of the new ticket holder. You can find the form here.

Highlights at Christmas Garden

Many unique highlights and the appropriate musical accompaniment were designed exclusively for the Christmas Garden 2020 and can only be experienced here. Let the “Glockenspiel” enchant you – take a fun walk along a sparkling path with countless fairy lights and real, ringing Christmas bells. Marvel at the “water fairy tale” – it inspires with a light work of art made of water mist and a video projection and lets imaginative, shining motives develop on an impressive water wall.
