Information on Hygiene
Please arrive punctually, this does not mean too early or too late. This will help to avoid crowds at the entrance and to keep the distance regulations. For example, if you have bought a ticket for 5 pm, you can arrive at the entrance between 5 pm and 5.30 pm.
Highly frequented areas such as catering and sanitary facilities are regularly disinfected. Spread over the entire site, there will also be sufficient stations for hand disinfection.
Please keep a distance of 1.50 metres to people who are not part of your family or household.
Personalised Ticketing / Re-personalisation of Tickets
In order to be able to trace possible chains of infection, we as promoters are obliged to record your name and contact details. We use computer-controlled, personalised ticketing. In doing so, we observe both the relevant requirements of the authorities and the data protection regulations in accordance with the DSGVO. Children’s tickets must also be personalised and must contain all the necessary information. Only a personalised ticket then authorises you to enter. We ask you to present the purchased tickets and a photo document (identity card, driving licence, etc.) at the entrance.
If you are unable to attend on the day of the event, you can change your print@home or mobile ticket in your booking account at myticket.de. The re-personalisation will be done online. Further information can be found here.
If the ticket was sent to you by post, it will be re-personalised on site at the box office. There, you or the new visitor in question would enter the previous ticket and all the above-mentioned details of the new ticket holder. You can find the form here.
Public Security and Hygiene Concept
To allow you an experience full of atmosphere, the admission is limited for visitors per 30 minutes. Please show up at the admission time shown on your ticket and pass the entrance within the half hour mentioned on your ticket. The Christmas Garden takes almost exclusively place in the historical part of the Wilhelma where only a few animals live under the open sky. Every evening a senior person from the Wilhelma will be on site to ensure that animal welfare is not compromised. The penguins, pelicans and flamingos, whose enclosure is close to the trail, are not affected by the event and the visitors. Please note the obligation to wear masks in front of the outdoor compounds of predators and monkeys. The obligation to wear masks is indicated at the respective animal compounds. Photography with flash is not permitted in the animal compounds.
