Questions and answers about Christmas Garden Frankfurt

Tickets

Children up to and including 5 years of age receive free admission to the Christmas Garden. From the age of 6, children require a ticket, which can be booked in our ticket shop.
Admission for children under 14 years is only permitted when accompanied by an adult.

Yes. Pupils, students and senior citizens aged 65 and over are entitled to reduced admission from Monday to Thursday (except public holidays and between 19 December 2022 and 08 January 2023). The discount can only be granted upon presentation of an appropriate ID at the entrance.

Yes. Adult visitors with disabilities require an adult ticket. Children with disabilities require a ticket for children. On presentation of a severely handicapped ID (sign B), an accompanying person receives free admission to the Christmas Garden. The accompanying person does not receive a ticket and must fill out a visitor data collection form beforehand to track possible chains of infection. Only then can the accompanying person pass the entrance with the visitor.

Up to a group size of 20 people you can book your tickets via our ticket page. From a group size of 21 people, please send us an enquiry.

Yes. Tickets are also available at the box office. We recommend purchasing tickets cheaper in advance, as popular time slots may be sold out, resulting in wait times. The on-site box office opens at 4:15pm and closes at the end of the last admission slot.

Yes. If you are prevented from attending on the day of the event, you can change the name of your print@home or mobile ticket in your booking account at myticket.de. The reassignment takes place online. If you have received your ticket by post, it will be reassigned at the box office. Please bring the completed reassignment form with you; you can download it here.

No. If the ticket is lost, no replacement or reprint is possible. Likewise, a return or exchange of tickets is not possible. Pursuant to Section 312g, paragraph 2, sentence 1, no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no right of revocation for the purchase of tickets despite the fundamental existence of a distance selling transaction. This means that the two-week right of revocation and return is completely excluded when purchasing tickets.

If no more tickets are available online for a time slot, it is sold out and no more tickets are available at the box office either.

General information

Yes, you are allowed to bring a pram/handcart.

Yes. There are barrier-free toilets on the premises.

If you have lost something at the Christmas Garden, please email us with a description of the lost item. We usually keep lost items at the box office.

Yes. The Christmas Garden takes place in all weathers – including if it rains. Please be aware of this before purchasing a ticket. Tickets cannot be returned due to bad weather, as long as there is no acute danger to our guests.

There are barrier-free paths for visitors:inside with wheelchairs or strollers, yet the natural conditions on site can be a challenge.

You are cordially invited to photograph our installations. Of course, you may bring a tripod. We would be delighted if you capture the special atmosphere of the Christmas Garden and share your impressions with us on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok under #christmasgarden. Please understand that for safety reasons, photography with drones is not permitted. At our event, photography and filming may only be done for private purposes. Recordings for commercial/commercial purposes are not permitted.

No. For safety reasons, bicycles, sledges, balance bikes and other children's vehicles may not be taken onto the Christmas Garden grounds.

No. Please understand that dogs (even if leashed) and other animals may not be taken into the Christmas Garden. An exception is made, of course, for officially registered assistance dogs (guide dogs, etc.).

To ensure an atmospheric experience for all guests, the admission time is staggered by 30-minute intervals. Your ticket will show the admission time. Please pass by the entrance within the half hour indicated. Example: If you have bought a ticket for 5:30 p.m., then you can arrive for admission between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Of course you can stay longer than 30 minutes in the Christmas Garden.

The Christmas Garden is an open-air event and the winter evenings can get very cold. We therefore recommend weatherproof and warm clothing as well as sturdy shoes. Please also bring an umbrella if necessary.

Gastronomy

Yes. Our varied culinary provision awaits you along the circular trail at snack stands decorated for Christmas that invite you to take a short break during your magical journey.

The purchase of food and beverages at some food stands is possible only with cash.

Yes, we would be happy to host your Christmas party in the Christmas Garden. You can find more details and information here.

COVID-19

Currently, there are no testing and verification requirements for admission to the Christmas Garden. We are looking forward to your visit!

Christmas Garden will once again provide excitement this year and guarantee a contemplative open-air experience thanks to an extensive hygiene concept. Please inform yourself about the applicable hygiene measures before your visit.(Current information about our hygiene concept).
We are meeting the increased security requirements of the past few years with increased steward and security personnel and a professional admission organization, taking into account current standards. To ensure speedy admission, please do not bring any large bags with you.
