Tickets
No. If a ticket is lost, it cannot be replaced or reprinted. Likewise, tickets cannot be returned. Pursuant to Section 312g(2), sentence 1, no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of tickets, despite the fact that the transaction generally constitutes a distance sale. This means that the two-week right of withdrawal and return is completely excluded when purchasing tickets.
Yes. With a FlexTicket, you can visit the Christmas Gaden on any day during opening hours without having to commit to a specific date and entry time in advance. Even if certain entry times are sold out, you’ll still be able to enter.
Yes. We offer two gift certificate options—which you can purchase on the ticket page—to bring joy to your loved ones:
• FlexTicket as a gift: The recipient can visit the Christmas Garden on any day during opening hours without having to commit to a specific date in advance.
• Gift Certificate: With a gift certificate from our partner myticket.de, you’re giving the freedom to redeem the certificate for various events, including the Christmas Garden.

Yes. The e-ticket will be provided to you as a PDF. You can either show it digitally on your smartphone, print it out and bring the paper copy to the event, or save it to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Gift certificates can be issued with a custom amount (starting at €1.00) and personalized with a message.
Gift certificates can be redeemed directly at the Christmas Garden box office, provided that tickets are still available for the desired date and time slot.
We recommend redeeming the gift certificate online in our ticket shop for admission tickets before your visit to the Christmas Garden. You may pay the difference if needed. Any remaining balance on the gift certificate can, of course, be used at myticket.de for other events.
Please note that gift certificates cannot be redeemed at the food and beverage stands in the Christmas Garden.
If tickets for a specific time slot are no longer available online, that time slot is sold out, and tickets will not be available at the box office either. We recommend purchasing tickets in advance at a lower price through our ticket shop.
Yes, we offer discounts for the following visitor groups and tickets:
• High school students, college students, and seniors aged 65 and older
Discounted admission is available Monday through Thursday (except on holidays and between December 18 and January 10). The discount can only be granted upon presentation of valid identification at the entrance.
• Families
Reduced admission on Family Days.
Reduced admission with the Family Ticket.
On Family Days or with the Family Ticket, up to 5 people from the same family (up to second degree of kinship) can visit the Christmas Garden:
a) 2 adults and at least 1 to a maximum of 3 children aged 6 to 14
b) 1 adult and at least 1 to a maximum of 4 children aged 6 to 14
• Children
Children up to and including age 5 receive free admission to the Christmas Garden.
• Guests with disabilities
All guests who require an accompanying person (marked with a “B” on their disability ID card) may bring their accompanying person free of charge. However, they must purchase a regular ticket.
Discounts and reductions cannot be combined.
For groups of up to 20 people, you can book your tickets through our ticketing page. For groups of 21 or more, please send us a request, which you can also submit through our ticketing page.
No. Christmas Garden Stuttgart , the Stuttgart FamilenCard is not valid for the Christmas Garden Stuttgart .
We use a demand-based pricing system. This means that our admission prices depend on how early you book your ticket and for which date. As a result, we can offer you your Christmas Garden experience at a particularly low price on many show days. It pays to book your tickets early! So be sure to secure your discount now.
There are three price categories: Monday through Thursday, Friday through Sunday, and the Christmas/New Year's period. You can find the corresponding prices in the ticket shop on our website.
Yes. If you purchased a ticket through our website or myticket.de, you can reschedule the ticket to a new date and/or time slot up to five days before your booked time slot.
Ticket booking via a guest account:
If you booked your tickets as a guest, please use the “Request a new password” feature via the following link to convert your guest account into a customer account: myticket login. Please enter the email address you used to book the tickets. You can then make the change in your customer account under “Ticket” and the sub-section “Ticket Exchange.”

Please note: Discounted tickets for schoolchildren, students, and seniors can only be exchanged for tickets valid Monday through Thursday. It is not possible to reschedule to Friday through Sunday. A fee of €5.00 is charged per exchange/transaction. Exchanges can only be made via online payment (credit card, Klarna, Amazon Pay, Giropay) and not with prepayment.

The cheapest tickets are available only online! The earlier you book a ticket, the lower the price.
The on-site box office is open from 4:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Children 5 years old and younger are admitted free of charge to the Christmas Garden. Children 6 years and older must have a ticket, which can be purchased in our ticket shop.
Children under 14 years of age may only enter when accompanied by an adult.

Your ticket indicates your admission time. Please enter through the entrance within the specified time frame. You do not need to arrive earlier.
No. Public transportation is not included in the Christmas Garden ticket.
To ensure an enjoyable experience for all guests, admission times are staggered in 30-minute intervals. Your ticket indicates your admission time. Please enter through the entrance within the specified half-hour window. For example: If you purchased a ticket for 5:30 p.m., you may arrive between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Of course, you are welcome to stay in the Christmas Garden for longer than 30 minutes.

General Information
No. Please understand that dogs (even on a leash, in backpacks, bags, etc.) and other animals are not permitted in the Christmas Garden. Of course, officially registered service dogs (e.g., guide dogs) are exempt from this rule.
Yes. You may bring a stroller or handcart.
No. The greenhouses and animal enclosures are not part of the Christmas Gardens and remain closed in the evening. They can be visited during their regular hours of operation.
If you have lost something at the Christmas Garden, please send us an email with a description of the lost item.
No. Wilhelma day passes and annual passes are not valid, as the Christmas Garden is an event that takes place during Wilhelma's evening hours.
No. The Christmas Garden takes place almost exclusively in the historic part of Wilhelma, where only a few animals live outdoors. All animal enclosures are closed in the evening. Every evening, a senior Wilhelma staff member is on site to ensure that no animal is disturbed. The zoo’s residents whose enclosures are located along the walking path are not disturbed by the event or the visitors. Taking photos with a flash is generally not permitted at the animal enclosures.
With an increased number of security and usher staff and a professional admission process, we are meeting the heightened security requirements of recent years while adhering to current standards. To ensure a smooth admission process, we ask that you refrain from bringing large bags.
The Christmas Garden is an open-air event, and winter evenings can get very cold. We therefore recommend that you wear warm, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. Please also bring an umbrella if necessary.
Yes. The Christmas Garden takes place regardless of the weather—even if it rains. Please be aware of this before purchasing a ticket. Ticket refunds due to inclement weather are not permitted, provided there is no immediate danger to our guests.
No. For safety reasons, bicycles, sleds, balance bikes, and other children's vehicles are not allowed on the Christmas Gardens grounds.
You are cordially invited to film and photograph our installations. Of course, you are welcome to bring a tripod. We’d love for you to capture the special atmosphere of the Christmas Garden and share your impressions with us on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook using #christmasgarden. Please understand that, for safety reasons, drone photography is not permitted. At our event, photos and videos may only be taken for personal use. Photography or videography for commercial purposes is not permitted and requires prior written authorization.

There are currently fraudulent sweepstakes circulating on social media that are supposedly being held on behalf of Christmas Garden. Please note that we are in no way affiliated with these sweepstakes. In official sweepstakes, you will never be asked for confidential information such as bank details or phone numbers. To ensure that you are participating in a genuine Christmas Garden sweepstakes, please check whether it was posted directly on our official channels. Stay vigilant and protect your personal information!
In the Christmas Garden, rapidly changing light patterns, strobe-like effects, and/or intense visual stimuli are used in a few areas. Therefore, we ask people with epilepsy or increased sensitivity to light to exercise caution.
It is generally possible to propose marriage in the Christmas Garden. However, please note the following guidelines:
• Please stay on the designated loop trail and on the marked paths.
• Do not leave any trash behind: no confetti, no plastic, no balloons, no candles, no fireworks, etc.
• To ensure that all guests can enjoy their visit to the Christmas Garden, please be considerate: Other visitors must not be disturbed or held up.
• The Christmas Garden team cannot provide organizationalsupport or assistance with planning the proposal.
We still wish you a romantic moment and are delighted that you have chosen the Christmas Garden for this special occasion.
Guests with Disabilities
Yes. There are accessible restrooms on the premises.
There are accessible paths for visitors in wheelchairs or with strollers; however, the natural terrain on site can still pose a challenge.
Visitors with a severe disability ID card (Category B) may bring one companion into the Christmas Garden free of charge. However, children and adults with disabilities must purchase a regular ticket. The companion does not need a separate ticket; they may enter with the person they are accompanying. Unfortunately, we cannot offer discounts to guests with disabilities who do not have a Category B ID card.
Adult visitors with disabilities need an adult ticket. Children with disabilities need a child’s ticket. Upon presentation of a severe disability ID card (Category B), one accompanying person receives free admission to the Christmas Garden. The accompanying person does not need a separate ticket. They may enter with the person they are accompanying. Unfortunately, we cannot offer discounts to guests with disabilities who do not have a Category B ID card.
Yes. You can borrow a wheelchair free of charge by leaving a deposit (e.g., an ID card). Please contact the security staff at the main entrance. Wheelchairs are provided on a first-come, first-served basis; advance registration or reservations are not possible.
