It’s like stepping into a fairy tale. The tremendous effort and excellent organization are commendable. For starters, admission is limited, so there’s no stressful crowding. There are various stations with kiosks and clean restrooms. I really liked the lighting—it inspired us to decorate our house, too 😂

We really enjoyed our evening at the Christmas Garden. There were lots of beautifully designed light displays, and the walking route was very easy to navigate. The stops along the way where you could grab a bite to eat or a drink were reasonably priced, too. In short, we had a great time and will definitely be back.

The Christmas Garden on Mainau Island on Lake Constance is a wonderful opportunity to visit Lake Constance even in the winter. We booked our tickets and the ferry from Meersburg online in advance. What awaited us exceeded our expectations—lights, lasers, glitter, everything you could possibly imagine—it’s impossible to describe in words. I've been there twice, and it was magical both times—the lighting effects and the different shapes were just amazing. The only slight downside was that the food and drinks on offer were quite expensive.

We always enjoy coming back to the Christmas Garden.  Whether you're young or old, this is a place to dream and marvel.  Above all, photography enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy as they capture the lovely light displays.
