Traveling by Car
There is ample parking available in the mainland parking lot. Parking fees on Mainau Island are €6.00 for visitors and €2.00 for annual pass holders. For more information, visit the Mainau Island website:
. You can easily reach the Christmas Garden by boat via the car ferry (Konstanz–Meersburg route). Information on departure times is available on the Stadtwerke Konstanz website. Please check whether the ferry connection you need is available on your desired date before purchasing tickets.
Traveling by RV
A designated RV parking space is available for guests arriving by RV. Parking fees on Mainau Island are €6.00. For overnight stays, in addition to the parking fees (valid from 7:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.), a night rate of €12.00 (valid from 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.) also applies. Getting There by Public Transportation
The Ring Line 4/13 and 13/4 bus stops near the entrance. For more information, please contact Stadtwerke Konstanz.
Personal Check-in Time
To ensure the most enjoyable experience possible, visitor admission is limited to one group every 30 minutes. Your ticket indicates an admission time. Please enter through the entrance during the specified half-hour time slot.
Example: If you purchased a ticket for 5:30 p.m., you can arrive for admission between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Of course, you’re welcome to stay in the Christmas Garden for longer than 30 minutes.
